Life Transitions, Anxiety, and Depression

Therapy for Difficly Life Transitions, Anxiety, and Depression

Healing is more than “getting over it.” It’s about finding a way forward when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. Change, loss, and transition often stir up anxiety, sadness, or self-doubt—and it can be hard to sort through it all on your own. Healing means building tools that help you manage stress and anxiety in the moment, while also creating deeper resilience for the future. It’s about understanding the patterns that keep you stuck, softening the voice of self-criticism, and learning to approach yourself with greater compassion. Most importantly, healing is about creating space for meaning and connection—both with yourself and with the people and activities that matter most to you.

Therapy offers a place to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. In therapy, you don’t need to perform or meet anyone else’s idea of progress. Instead, we’ll focus on what matters to you, at your pace, in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. What Brings You Here?

There isn’t one “right” way to move through these challenges. For some, success means easing panic attacks enough to enjoy leaving the house again. For others, it’s learning skills to cope with sadness, quiet an inner critic, or step more fully into a new stage of life. Your needs are unique, and therapy should reflect that.

Your Journey, Your Choice

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored. You may want short-term support around a specific transition, or longer-term work to shift deeply held patterns. We’ll explore what feels most important for you right now, and create a path that honors both your goals and your pace.

I work with individuals and couples navigating:

  • Life transitions (career changes, relationship shifts, parenting, loss)

  • Anxiety (panic, worry, overthinking, perfectionism)

  • Depression (low mood, motivation, self-criticism, feelings of disconnection)

Together, we’ll build tools for managing stress, strengthen self-compassion, and explore how your values can guide choices that feel authentic and sustainable.

Virtual & Flexible Options

Life doesn’t pause for therapy. I offer virtual sessions, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are. This is especially helpful if you’re balancing work, caregiving, or other responsibilities. I also have limited in-person options.

A Safe Space to Grow

Therapy should never feel like judgment. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and rooted in harm reduction and care ethics. I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, and life experiences, and honor the ways culture, identity, and history shape your story.

Start Where You Are

If you’re ready to explore your next step—whether easing anxiety, working through depression, or navigating a life change—I’d love to connect with you.
